Should bicycles share roads with motorized vehicles? Probably as little as possible. In the same way as trains don't share roads with cars. Ideally, bicycle roads should be built as a separate network, choosing when possible paths through residential areas and nature.

That still holds true. A cyclist, a motorcyclists, a pedestrian and a car driver is usually the same person on a different day of the week.
