I flew Quatar Airways recently and was amazed by the sustained 100+ Mbps with a latency of IIRC around 60ms. Great times.

Except if someone starts a zoom call :)

I would enjoy seeing your virtuous corporations list. "The devil you see in social media constantly and relentlessly" vs "the devil you never knew existed" seem... not all that different to me.

I suppose it's another way of saying "I'm exhausted trying to find the sucks-less providers of my everyday existence" which I grant is my own failing.

There's a difference in support inescapable indirect evil, and explicit, direct evil.

      • bdangubic 2 months ago

nope, there isn’t. it is just lies you tell yourself to feel better…

If there wasn't any difference, the terms would be synonymous, and yet they are not.

my apologies, I did not mean to imply that dictionary definition of the terms are the same, only financially supporting someone doing so much malicious damage to a country which is same if you buy a Tesla or use Google Chrome and have an iPhone…

              > my apologies, I did not mean to imply that dictionary definition of the terms are the same

You didn't, but you are saying there is no difference in supporting indrect evil from supporting direct evil, while there clearly is, since the terms have very different meanings and connotations.

              > only financially supporting someone doing so much malicious damage to a country which is same if you buy a Tesla or use Google Chrome and have an iPhone…

Simply not true. Musk is no where near as malicious as other tech elites.

he’s mentally ill so that counts a little but if we have to make “scales of malicious” you know it is bad all around…
